Barrett Golding produced and wrote a series of public service announcements which won a Certificate of Merit- Honorable Mention in the American Bar Association Silver Gavel Awards. The PSA series was titled "These Are Your Constitutional Rights!". The spots described 25 pivotal Supreme Court cases that defined individual freedoms in the United States. The project was a collaboration of ACLU of Montana, Yellowstone Public Radio, and HearingVoices.com. The ABA Silver Gavel Awards "recognize excellence in media and the arts for fostering public understanding of law and the legal system." Among the six Winners and six other Honorable Mentions were "Dateline NBC", the TV series "Law & Order", Minnesota Public Radio/American RadioWorks, the Chicago Tribune, the New Yorker magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and NBC News. The PSA featured commissioned music by Racket Ship, and an accompanying website with original graphics, links to audio from the court hearings, and the full text of Supreme Court decisions. which has received tens of thousands of visitors. The PSAs are airing on public and commercial stations in Montana and Wyoming. The website www.aclumontana.org/rights has received tens of thousands of visitors.
